2008 WAAF Mantown DVD
Promised Eden will be featured on the upcoming Miss Mantown DVD released by Boston rock station WAAF. The DVD is a "behind the scenes" DVD with photo shoots for the yearly Miss Mantown Calender. Each calender girls photo shoot is backed by music from one local band, and Promised Eden's "Don't Belong" will be one of them (which month is TBA). For more information and to purchase the DVD visit www.waaf.com for details.
Emergenza and other news.
Well, we decided we were not going to do anymore battle of the bands so coming February 22, 2007 come and see us in the first round of the Emergenza. (It's not a battle of the bands, it's a festival competition) Tickets are available on our teaser (see right) and on the music page. This is an international competition so we decided this would be a good opportunity to break out into western Massachusetts. In other news, we are working on our new album, and have 3 great tracks completed. If you like Guilt, you're gonna leave these new songs. Keep an eye out for news on the upcoming album including the yet to be determined album name and release details.
Kickin' off the New Year
2007 is in full swing, and so is Promised Eden. We are looking for big things this year starting off with our very active search for professional management, and label support. We are writing songs for our 2nd album and they're sounding great so far. We've arleady featured a few songs at shows with great feedback from our fans. We were approached by Matchbox Records to feature our song "Bleed and Die" on their upcoming 3rd installment of the internationally distributed compilation CD "The Big Indie Comeback". We are also working on a minor sponsorship with the "No Fear" clothing line.
We are loading up shows for the new year, so keep an eye on the schedule. For our fans who are under 21, we have just added a great benefit show at The Mill and Artists Development Center in Southbridge, MA and it is an all ages show. The cost is $20 and tickets are avaible from the band or at the show. (We know this is a little pricey, but there will be 40+ bands and the proceeds go to many charitable organizations.)
We are adding fans daily and hopefully by the end of 2007, we will break from New England, to national recognition. Thanks for all of the support of our fans, friends and family in making this band a success.
